Frequently Asked Questions

Applying, trials, accounts and privacy — answered.

Applications

Any player in Namibia may apply. We recruit for our Senior, Reserve, Under-19, Under-17, Under-15, Academy and Women's squads, so there is an age group for players from 8 years upwards. Applications are judged on ability and attitude, not on where you come from.

No. Submitting an application through this website is free.

As soon as you submit the form you will see a confirmation page with your application reference number (for example AUFC-2026-00001) and you will receive a confirmation email. You can also sign in at any time and track your progress from your dashboard.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Most applicants hear from us within two to four weeks, though this depends on when the next trial is scheduled for their age group and region.

A passport-size photograph and a copy of your ID or passport are required. A football CV, a clearance letter from your previous club, and - for players under 18 - a signed parent or guardian consent form are strongly recommended. We accept PDF, JPG and PNG files.

Yes. Players under 18 must provide their parent or guardian's full name and contact details on the application, and registration cannot be completed until we have received signed guardian consent.

Trials

Trials usually run for two to three hours and include a warm-up, technical drills and small-sided or full matches. Coaches and scouts score each player against a set of criteria. Bring boots, shin pads, training kit and plenty of water.

Football boots, shin pads, training kit, a water bottle and your ID. If you have been invited, bring a copy of your trial invitation - printed or on your phone.

Accounts

No. The account you create when you apply becomes your player account automatically. When your application is accepted your dashboard changes from an applicant view to a full player dashboard.

Privacy

No. ID numbers, addresses, phone numbers, personal email addresses, guardian details, medical information and uploaded documents are never published. A public player profile - showing only your name, photo, squad number, position, team and statistics - is only created if the club explicitly enables it.
